A Friend's Wedding

A few months ago, I was able to go to a beautiful wedding to watch two of my friends get married. These two people are great for each other and I am so glad that I got to share their special day with them. As their wedding gift, I gave them two scrapbooks. One scrapbook of the wedding ceremony and one of the reception. I had so much making these scrapbooks!

Baby Book-Girl

 

A friend of my mom's had a baby shower recently and I made her a baby book to record Alina's height and weight for the first year! This book is a little different from the previous baby book I made. It took a little longer to make because I had to trace the cardboard pieces onto the scrapbook paper, then cut the shape out so I could mod podge the paper to the cardboard pieces. I just wish that I would have added some sparkle!!

 

 

These last two pages are my favorite because there are four spaces to put pictures of Alina for her first birthday!

 

When the mother opened this gift at her baby shower, she got so excited and some of the other ladies at the shower said that it was so cute and creative! Everybody loved it!

 



A Little Hello

I made this cute little card to send to a friend of mine that I haven't seen in quite a while. I took one piece of cardstock that was 5" by 7", folded it in half and hand wrote "just a little hello" on a few scraps of paper.

Baby Book-Boy

Lately, I have been making books for expecting parents. These books are perfect for parents to keep track of how much their children grow in weight and height for the first 12 months!

Each book is personalized with the baby's name and have a spot for the parents to write down the child's height and weight for each month, plus a spot to insert a picture of the child for that month.

Blogging Maiden Voyage

 I decided to start a scrapbooking blog because scrapbooking is what I love to do. I have other hobbies, but none of them take up as much of my time as my scrapbooks. I mostly make scrapbooks as gifts, but I have recently started a couple paid projects! On this blog, I am just going to post my recent projects of scrapbooks and other paper crafts!
